Prague, September 8, 2016 – AAA AUTO has been announced as the official partner of the largest Czech football competition – the Czech First League (ePojisteni.cz). The largest seller of pre-owned cars in Central and Eastern Europe will provide 105 vehicles for the League through its Mototechna brand. In this way it demonstrates its support of the Czech League and the League Football Association. This is the first collaboration between the second hand car retailer and the highest-level football competition on a national scale.
AAA AUTO CEO Karolina Topolova agreed on a two-year partnership with FACR chairman Miroslav Pelt and LFA chairman and league head Dusan Svoboda. "We're the largest retailer of second hand cars in the Czech Republic, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe : The number of our branches is continuously increasing along with the number of vehicles sold. Supporting a popular sport – football – and clubs in their journey through the highest league competition is therefore a logical part of our domestic presence,” said CEO of AAA AUTO Karolina Topolova, adding: “We will provide the cars through our brand Mototechna, which has sold vehicles to over 30,000 customers who prefer high-quality, minimally-used vehicles in the Czech Republic and Slovakia since its founding.”

Miroslav Pelta, chairman of the Football Association of the Czech Republic sees the main benefit of the cooperation with AAA AUTO in the joining together of the highest competition and largest seller of second hand cars in the Czech Republic. “From my position as chairman of the Football Association of the Czech Republic, I can happily say that we’ve been able to add another strong brand to our portfolio. AAA AUTO is an important car dealer, which has entered into one of the largest contracts to date with us. I am convinced that the partnership will be beneficial for both sides,” he said.
Luboš Koželuh, CEO of STES a.s. pointed out, in particular, the speed with which it was possible to bring the negotiations with AAA Auto to a successful conclusion. “It is necessary to highlight the attitude, speed and engagement of AAA AUTO in respect to the overall implementation of the mutual partnership. Over the course of a very short time, it was possible to sign off on mutual cooperation as well as the actual handing over of the vehicles. This proves that we have chosen the right partner.”
The overall value of the 105 vehicles loaned to LFA under the Mototechna brand 70,000,000 crowns. The vehicles will be replaced every six months and will involve a number of models, brands and specifications. The first cars were handed over to the Pilsen, Sparta and Jablonec leagues, already this week, and additional vehicles were taken over at a press conference today by representatives of Dukla and Bohemians. Also participating in the event were Admir Ljevakovič, captain of FK Teplice, captain of FK Dukla Praha, Jan Šimůnek, goalie for FC Viktoria Plzeň Matúš Kozáčik and reservist for FC Zbrojovka Brno, Jan Polák.
AAA AUTO’s fast reaction to the needs of league clubs was commented on by Sparta’s offense player, Václav Kadlec, who returned to Letna in the most expensive player transfer in the Czech league to date at 73 million crowns from the Danish Midtjyland. “As players we know how important it is for a club to have a first rate vehicle fleet available for its continuous travelling. AAA AUTO is known to almost everyone, just like the Czech First League, which is why this partnership definitely makes sense.”
Mototechna, which is providing the vehicles, was re-established on the market by AAA AUTO four years ago as its brand to sell “nearly new” cars. The company also sells premium and luxury cars under the Mototechna Premium brand. The typical age of Mototechna’s nearly new cars is under two years, with low total mileage, prices 30 to 40% lower in comparison with new cars, a selection of almost 50 vehicle models from twenty carmakers, immediate availability and an the most sought-after equipment and accessories on the market. Sales under the Mototechna brand increased almost by one tenth just this year, thanks to the introduction of the new Bumerang financing product, which guarantees buy back of the vehicle for a prearranged price. A customer can also purchase the cars using a classic loan from one of four renowned partners - Ceska sporitelna, Home Credit, Komercni banka or Moneta Bank.
In addition to the official partnership with the Czech First League, last week AAA AUTO also became a platinum partner of the Slovak Football Association and supports the Slovak National Football Team.
