Katowice, December 14, 2015 – AAA AUTO is opening its second branch in Katowice today. The new branch opening is a part of the international expansion plan announced after last year’s change of the company´s majority shareholder, which is now the British-Polish private equity investment fund Abris Capital Partners. The new car center in Katowice will be now opened mainly for car buying, gradually preparing itself for the start of full service, which will be launched within several weeks.
3. December 2015Mototechna Premium becomes largest seller of “6-month-old cars” in the Czech Republic
Prague, 3 December 2015 – Nearly new cars up to one year old have become the largest sales segment for AAA AUTO group’s Mototechna brand. A total of 600 of these cars can currently be found in Mototechna’s range, 400 of which are only six months old. These are therefore nearly new cars which are all available in one place.

Prague, 30 November – AAA AUTO wins a place in the “Czech Top 100” competition for the first time. The aim of the competition is to identify the top one hundred Czech companies nationwide. A wide range of experts are called on to evaluate eligibility for inclusion in the competition and to set the rankings, based on assessments and specialized knowledge. AAA AUTO was taking part for the very first time, but still made it through to the upper half of the rankings, securing 21st place.

24. November 2015Plzeň branch of AAA AUTO undergoes renovation and can now offer up to 350 cars
Plzeň, 24 November – AAA AUTO today reopened its branch in Plzeň following enlargement and renovation under the firm’s program of domestic and foreign expansion. The branch can now handle more customers buying and selling cars and will offer a hundred more cars. Autocentrum AAA AUTO Plzeň, which first opened for business in 1999, is the fourth largest branch of AAA AUTO in the Czech Republic. Almost 5,000 customers pass through every year and after renovation, as many as 350 used cars will be on offer.

Prague, 19 November – While used cars with at least one airbag are becoming the norm in Czech used car dealerships, the strongest growth in the area of safety features has been for automatic daytime running lights. The number of cars sold with this feature more than doubled compared to last year. This information comes from the annual used car analysis performed by AAA AUTO.
12. November 2015One in four AAA AUTO customers take advantage of trade-ins when buying a used car
Prague, 12 November – Czech drivers are increasingly taking the option of bringing their old car to a used car dealership and leaving soon afterwards in a completely different vehicle. Trade-ins are often preferred for the fact that customers can get up to 20% more for their old car than under a normal sale. They usually take advantage of a trade-in to buy a newer or more luxurious model and use the proceeds from the sale of their current car to make the down payment or to settle part of the purchase price. However, almost a third of customers take advantage of a trade-in to exchange their current car for an older car: the difference in price is them paid to them in cash which they can then use as they wish.

Prague, October 22nd, 2015 – At the beginning of November, AAA AUTO will draw a thick line behind a year in which it changed directors and merged with several companies, moving its headquarters to the Czech Republic and changing its name to AAA Auto International. The entire operation will not have any impact on AAA Auto’s contractual relationships with customers, subscribers or suppliers, and the merged company will by law continue them.
